On 6th August 2005 Perth Youth Orchestra were the first orchestra to perform on the platform of the new Perth Concert Hall in an event attended by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Following the performance the royal guests met Mr Allan Young, the orchestra’s leaders, Ben Norris and Rosanna Young together with members of Perth Youth Theatre, the Jambouree Choir and other groups who had taken part in the concert.
